I am Amanda J. Cunningham, a lifelong Hoosier, public servant at heart, and independent voice for the people. I am formally declaring my intent to file for candidacy as an Independent candidate for the United States House of Representatives in Indiana’s 7th Congressional District in the 2028 General Election.
I am stepping forward to represent the citizens of Indianapolis and the 7th District with integrity, accountability, and constitutional responsibility. I am committed to restoring trust between the people and their federal government, ensuring that the voices of our communities—not political parties, corporate interests, or special interests—are the guiding force behind legislative decisions
I believe representation must be grounded in service, transparency, and the protection of individual liberty, economic opportunity, and public welfare. As an Independent candidate, I stand accountable directly to the people, not to any political party.
I am seeking this office to serve faithfully, uphold the Constitution of the United States, and advocate for policies that strengthen families, protect freedoms, promote responsible governance, and secure the future of Indiana’s communities.
